Do you head up or head down when washing your hair? Is it a damn question?

No it is not, actually ! It is a very important and serious question…

To be honest,

I have always faced down when I wash my hair until now.

BUT I have read that facing down when washing your hair may cause your skin to sag and deepen your laugh lines.

As our face skin is linked to our scalp, our scalp may start sagging, and our face starts to lose elasity and firmness…that is scary.

My only concern is that a shampoo gets on the body when you face up, and it may not be good for your skin. I think we have to make sure that we use a good quality shampoo without any nasty ingredients.

Let’s review a right way to wash your hair.

1. Untie all the tangles on your hair gently with the help of a comb or hair brush.

2. Rinse your hair well with warm water for 5 minutes before applying a shampoo. You can remove about 70% of oil and dirt on you hair by this process.

3.  Lather the shampoo well and apply the lather to your scalp.

4. Massage your scalp gently with the lather. If you have a long hair, use the lather to rinse your hair gently first then rinse the shampoo away. Apply the shampoo again and massage your scalp with the lather.

5. Rinse the shampoo away from your hairline. Rinse your hair thoroughly.

6. Apply a conditioner to your hair but not to your scalp. Rince your hair well.

7. Put a towel around your hair for several minutes before patting dry with a towel. In this way, your hair will not damage by the extra friction by using a towel and the long usage of a hair dryer.

I guess there is no easy way to get a gourgeous hair, but you will get it if you follow the steps. Let’s head up and be beautiful…

Ciao for now.
