Hi Everybody,

Blackheads especially on your nose and forehead do not look good, do they?

I used to use a pore mask sheet, which is still one of many popular skin care products in Japan.

This is an interesting product because many women are hooked to this because you can immediately remove dirt after peeling a sheet. I was amazed to see the amount of dirt on a sheet, and I used to feel good to see this result!

But I would not recommend you to use this regularly because it takes several days for pores to close after removing dirt from them in this way. Dirt can accumulate while pores are open.  In no time, you will feel the urge to use a sheet again. You will end up falling into a vicious cycle.

You may need a bit of patience, but you can achieve clean pores naturally by following the steps below. In the end, slow and steady wins the race!

1 Place a wet towel in the microwave for a minute to make a steamed towel. The towel is hot, so be careful when you take out the towel from the microwave

2 Cover your face with the towel for a minute.

3 Use a pure natural oil* (without any toxic chemicals) such as camellia oil and olive oil, and massage your nose and T-zone gently in circular motion with a third finger. The reason of using a third finger is not to massage strongly.

4 Cleanse your face with a mild natural soap (no chemical based harsh cleanser). Make a nice creamy lather and wash your face very gently.

5 Splash your face with cold water for the last 10 splashes for a thorough rinsing.

6 After applying a toner, beauty serum and cream, apply plenty of cream on your nose and T-zone again.

You may think it is a bit odd to apply plenty of cream on an oily nose and T-zone, but this can keep moisture inside your skin and the oil release from your skin will end up working normally by protecting your skin with sebum.

You will realise your skin pores look clean after repeating these steps for a month.

Not only do your skin pores become clean, but also you may realise your skin looks more beautiful than before. Using a steamed towel is a very good skin care routine – no cost but very effective !

Thank you for your reading and ciao for now.

Yoko xoxo
